HOW WE CARE

All Paws Grooming always puts the health, safety, and well-being of the pet above all else. We use organic products and train our Salon Staff to understand that a trip to the groomer isn’t just about a bath or a haircut; it’s an experience and an important part of overall pet wellness. We’re a kennel-free salon, meaning we don’t use cage drying methods or double-book/overlap appointment times. Your pet gets one-on-one attention from the beginning of the appointment until the end. Treats and kisses included free of charge!

We provide customized grooming services and packages that focus on what’s best for your pet. Everything from Full-Service spa days with nose-to-toes haircuts, to quick individual services like nail trims. Do you need a brush out to keep your dog tangle-free between grooms? Or maybe you’re feeling fun and want to let your dog rock a blue mohawk and purple nail polish? We do all that, too! Whether you’re a member of the Daycare, or you just need a loving groomer to make your furbaby look and feel beautiful, we’re here for you and for them.

Pets are required to have DHLPP & Rabies vaccinations in order to be groomed at our facility. Bordetella is also highly recommended. For the safety of everyone: pets cannot be pregnant, nursing or in heat at the time of service. An All Paws profile must be completed with all customer forms signed before an appointment can be saved. If you have aggressive behavior concerns for your pet (with strangers or other animals) a phone consult is necessary to determine which safety measures are needed before booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! We’re a full service Cat salon that can provide bathing, trimming and nails for felines. However, availability is limited to weekends and one groomer. All cat appointments are to be made by consult only. Please call for scheduling and details.

We don’t recommend bringing a pet with a known flea/tick infestation to our facility prior to treatment. All dogs are required to be on a flea and tick preventative before entering because of the number of pets and people that come through our doors every day. However, if we find fleas on your dog during the grooming process, we will provide a bath and spray in our natural flea and tick products at an additional charge to you.

Appointments typically take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours, but fluctuates based on size of dog and service. For the safety of the pets in our care, we don’t allow parents in the Salon. You’ll be quoted a time at scheduling or drop-off and given a heads up at least 15 minutes before your pet will be ready. We are a kennel-free grooming facility, so your pet should be picked up within 20 minutes of completion. If it exceeds this and we have to place your pet in our Daycare/Boarding building, there could be a “boarding fee” for holding your pet in a kennel. If you know you’re going to be more than 20 minutes early dropping off or 20 minutes late picking up, exceptions can be made with pre-planning.

Grooming can be a stressful time for your pet. There are a lot of noises and pressures put on your dogs body in a grooming environment, which makes it unsafe for dogs that are pregnant and nursing. We can’t monitor their hormones or heart rate, and wouldn’t be able to guarantee the safety of your pet or their babies.

Dogs in heat are a safety risk at our facility because of the extreme influx of hormones it causes. It can be difficult to maintain the blood and the scent makes other dogs nearby a lot more curious and reactive than usual. Your pet is experiencing a lot of discomfort during their heat cycle, and shouldn’t be exposed to grooming or other stressful situations if at all possible.

Of course! All Paws welcomes all paws, and we’re willing to work with your pet’s special needs. If you have concerns about how your pet will react to grooming, or being in the vicinity of other dogs, please call prior to scheduling and speak with someone about procedures and precautions. We’re always going to be willing to try, but will also advise you if it’s not a good fit and recommend other options. Ultimately, we want what’s best and safest for the dogs in our care.

We’ll offer additional odor-resolving bathing if you’ve already treated the dog at home. Freshly skunked animals should be bathed a few times before bringing them around other pets and blow drying them, as this spreads the scent. Skunk spray is an oil and is extremely difficult to eradicate. It typically takes 5-8 treatments before the smell will fully dissolve and may still be faint when wet.

We do offer brush-out services at $1 per minute, and require a consultation prior to booking. We’ll work with you on a plan to save and maintain your pets fluffy coat if it won’t jeopardize the health of your pet and their skin. If the coat is deemed unsafe to brush by our experienced groomers, we reserve the right to refuse the service.

If your dog isn’t matted, and you want to keep it that way, we also offer Express Blowout services to help maintain their coat between grooms! Ask one of our Salon Staff about it!

We won’t shave or excessively shorten body hair on a double coated dog. This can cause so many health and coat issues, and doesn’t benefit your dog in any way. There are other options if your dog is uncomfortable, itchy or shedding! We’re happy to offer education and resources for parents on proper care of a double coat, just ask!

Stephanie | Pet Stylist

Hi, I’m Stephanie! I was born and raised in Alaska, but fate brought me to Columbus and luck brought me here! I have been with All Paws since Day #1 and belonged to our management team. In 2020 grooming called to me, and I answered that call with the same passion I have always had for your pups! I like to spend my free time spoiling the 4 fur babies I have at home (one pictured here!). While my pups are double-coated, curly coats are my favorite to work on. My top priority will always be making sure my clients receive the patience and love they all deserve.

Ali | Pet Stylist

Hi, I’m Ali! I am a Washington State native who came to Ohio looking for a fresh start. I began my journey in grooming at the young age of 16, helping bathe and dry dogs for a neighbor’s grooming salon. I loved it so much, I wanted to keep learning and I’m now a professional groomer of 5 years, finding my home here at All Paws. My favorite dogs to groom are Terriers of all types! But my real talent lies in the “oodles” of Doodles and Poodles, where I get to show off my scissor work and attention to detail. I love every dog that comes onto my table, and I will treat each one with respect and kindness as if they’re one of my own. I am also currently going to school to be a Master cat groomer! I am available for baths and nail trims and will be accepting haircuts soon!

Aaminah | Pet Stylist

Hi, I’m Aaminah! I moved to Ohio for family but stayed due to my love for dogs. In 2018, I was looking to start my career with dogs at All Paws, while I attended school to become a Vet Assistant. Since then, I have worked as a Vet Assistant, Daycare Attendant, & Do Daycare/Boarding Manager. I became intrigued with grooming throughout my career in dogs and decided to pivot my focus. I am now able to use my extensive knowledge of pups combined with my passion for my fur babies to give them the best Spaw Days of their life. What I love the most about grooming is spending one-on-one time with every pup and building an unbreakable bond. Pitties & Huskies are my favorite! I absolutely adore my Pibble, Mr. Garth. I’m so excited to be able to follow this dream and cannot wait to see where my passion takes me!

Leslie | Groom Tech

Hi, I’m Leslie! I was born and raised here in Ohio. I am engaged and have a one-year-old daughter. My three pitties are also my babies! I started in childcare but after 10 years, I knew it was time for a change. I decided to take my love for dogs and turn it into a career. That’s what brought me to All Paws! I am the newest addition to the All Paws Grooming Team. I enjoy giving baths, shed control treatments and pawdicures to all pups in need! I ensure all pups are looking and smelling “so fresh and so clean!” Whether they’re sweet, anxious, or downright naughty, your fur baby is in great hands with me!
